Homeschool Hour at Bartow Library

Bring your homeschool family to Bartow Library to enjoy a brief learning segment followed by open study hour.

Library Tour

  • Wednesday, September 18th
  • 10 AM - 12 PM
  • Get a tour of our library and learn about the resources that can enrich your learning! Registration required

Spooky Literature & Crafts

  • Wednesday, October 16th
  • 10 AM - 12 PM
  • Receive chilling book recommendations for every age and create haunting apparitions to take home! Crafts supplied for different ages and abilities

Homeschool Art Show

  • Wednesday, November 20th
  • 10 AM - 12 PM
  • Submit your child's art to be featured in our art show! Registration required, art installation November 8th

Picture Book Pumpkin Contest

Help adorn our library shelves with pumpkins that look like your favorite book character! Submit your creation by October 5th and enter into a raffle for a spooky book basket! Open to all ages

  • Pick up kits September 9th-21st
  • One raffle entry per household
  • Winner will be contacted on October 18th
  • Creations can be picked up by October 31st

Is this your first time voting in a major election?

Visit our library to meet with representatives from the Polk County Supervisor of Elections! Register to vote, learn how to fact check news sources, and discover your impact on local and national government. All ages are welcome, especially high school and college students!
