Per Section 109.2 of the Florida Building Code 6th Edition, 2017, on buildings, structures, electrical, gas, mechanical and plumbing systems or alterations requiring a permit, a fee for each permit shall be paid as required in accordance with the fee schedule as established by the City of Bartow,

Less than $1,000                               $42.00

$1,000 and higher                              $42.00 for the first $1,000 plus $5.00 for each additional 

                                                           $1,000 or portion thereof                  

Additional Fees:    

Plan Review: 50% of the building permit fee cost

Archive fee: $3.00

Education fee: $5.00

Safety Inspection: $25.00 for residential, $40.00 for commercial property
